The countdown to the
opening of "Inception" draws to a close at midnight
of July 16 when writer-director Christopher Nolan's highly
anticipated sci-fi movie debuts nationwide. And for residents
in Vancouver, Wash., there is no better place to experience
the summer blockbuster than at Cinetopia, where a new Meyer
Sound Cinema Experience system delivers the unparalleled sonic
power and realism to push the audience's imagination to the
limit.
Featuring sound design by Richard King whose credits include
"The Prestige" and "The Dark Knight,"
Nolan's latest epic will be showcased at Cinetopia through
Meyer Sound's Acheron screen-channel loudspeakers, HMS-10
cinema surround loudspeakers, and X-800 subwoofers, installed
by Portland, Ore.-based American Cinema Equipment.
The Cinema Experience series' defining headroom and audio
linearity promise to give Cinetopia audiences the full movie
experience as Nolan's world of illusion and reality unravels
in front of their eyes.
