On June 20th and 21st, 2009 the International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) invites to a technical seminar in Amsterdam once again. Film Ton Technik will once more be co-organizing the event.
As every year ICTA will be hosting its Annual European Seminar Series the weekend prior to Cinema Expo. As in 2008, FTT will be assisting ICTA in organizing and programming of the seminar. “As always, this seminar covers a wide range of technical innovations and developments in the cinema industry,” says Thomas Rüttgers, General Manager of FTT. Bob Sunshine, Executive Director of ICTA adds: "Following last year’s success with over 100 attendees we are thrilled that FTT is on board yet again."
The seminar opens Saturday evening with a reception and dinner at the Amsterdam Hilton hotel. On Sunday there will be a bus transfer to Cinemec Ede, the leading cinema venue on the spot featuring a multi-purpose hall that can be used for cinema shows and all kinds of events alike. As far as seminar contents are concerned, digital cinema in all its aspects plays the central part. Apart from its co-operation in organizing the event, FTT will also make a presentation on the importance of technical audits for digital cinema installations.
