Together with Apollo Film and the Cinema Development Foundation, we have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the Eurocinema Expo Conference to be held in Krakow -POLAND (KIJÓW.CENTRUM) from February 16th to 17th, 2011.

It will be the biggest event dedicated to the digitalisation of cinema in Central and Eastern Europe. For non-profit organisations and public institutions, the participation in the conference is FREE-OF-CHARGE.

Eurocinema Expo 2011 is an event providing representatives of culture and the film industry with an opportunity to meet new digital technologies specialists. The conference shall discuss issues related to the digitalisation of cinema, including the question of obtaining the funds.

The Małopolska D-Cinemas Network, a pioneer project of digitalisation of local cinemas in Europe with the use of the structural funds, shall be discussed as an example. The agenda also includes discussions on the rules for drawing up cinema development strategies for local communities and the use of alternative content within the frames of cinema operation.

The presentations shall also include additional possibilities for the use of 3D technologies in the cinema, such as broadcasting ballet or opera performances, concerts, and sporting events. Other forms of income generation shall also be presented, including: advertising, organization of conferences, as well as provision of catering services which, when combined with ticket sales revenues, may contribute to self-financing of cinemas in future.
