With an ever
emergent 3D digital theatre expansion in 2008, award-winning
company, Edward Technologies, Inc. (ETI), continues to fortify
the marketplace with their 3D Digital systems. Through a valuable
partnership with Panasonic, that includes an exclusive 100%
theater financing package, each group combines years of experience
and talent in a variety of 3D projection and technology applications
to deliver optimal digital 3D entertainment.
The goals of ETI and Panasonic are aimed
at developing fully integrated production packages for digital
cinemas while offering a variety of cost-effective approaches
to meet customers needs to drive the out-of-home destination
experience. From the large format theatre to smaller venues,
each attraction is specially tailored and engineered to meet
todays advanced technologies.
Adding to this teams list of accomplishments
is the recent opening of the 3D/4D Theater at the Discovery
Science Center in Santa Ana, CA. This unique 130-seat theater
has been developed to use leading-edge technology systems
with enhancements for the full-sensory experience.
During this years IAAPA, ETI will
promote their relationships with Panasonic, as well as other
prestigious and well known entertainment companies who are
focusing on the future of digital entertainment. Understanding
the importance of building relationships by teaming with progressive
and enterprising groups, ETI understands how to marry the
guest experience to any attraction that will prove to be both
successful and memorable.
Throughout 2007, ETI showcased their diversity
of projects, which included Battle Station 21, located at
the US Navys Great Lakes Naval Air Station. Based on
historical naval events, this simulated basic training environment
creates one of the most realistic exercises to engage recruits
in real-time events. ETI believes more military branches will
see this as a pioneer location and will want to replicate
the experience.
Keeping up with themed entertainment, Mystery
Mine at the Dollywood Theme Park (Tennessee) received rave
reviews as this hair-raising attraction with drops of up to
95 degrees, introduced the first Gerstlauer Euro-figther ride.
In keeping with the theme park spirit, this attraction creates
the maximum thrill with heart-pounding response.
In collaboration with John Levy Lighting
and Production, ETI worked in tandem to produce some of the
most amazing remote projection screens at the Isle of Capri
Hotel & Casino in Coventry, UK. This state-of-the-art
complex provides audiovisual entertainment that is highlighted
in their Nightclub and on their main marquee to visually intrigue
their guests to enhance the casino experience.
Exhibitions have also been a source of ETIs
success, such as Real Pirates: The Untold Story of the Whydah
which was created for Arts and Exhibitions International has
broadened ETIs scope by delivering a thought-provoking
attraction which tells the compelling stories and experiences
of those people who lived aboard the Whydah. Drawing crowds
from all walks of life, this in-depth chronicle brings together
fantasy and history. Noahs Ark Exhibit at the Skirball
Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA is another fine example
of bringing an ancient story to life and allows the audience
to sail the ark with the animals in ways never imagined before.
ETI knows that creating long-term relationships
is the key. Brian Edwards, Founder, President and CEO continues
to dedicate himself and his teams in providing the highest
quality in audio, visual, specialty show control systems and
digital cinema solutions.
