Dolby Audio Technologies Surround Oscar Nominations for Achievement in Sound Editing and Mixing

Dolby Laboratories, Inc. announced today that all Oscar®-nominated films in the Achievement in Sound Editing and Achievement in Sound Mixing categories were released with Dolby® audio technologies.

This marks the 30th consecutive year that films released with Dolby audio technologies have earned Academy Award®nominations for outstanding sound quality. Recognized as the de facto standard for high-quality audio in cinema, Dolby's audio technologies, including Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Surround EXTM, have dramatically enhanced the cinema-going experience.

The 80th Annual Academy Awards are scheduled to be televised live from Hollywood's Kodak Theatre in high definition and Dolby Digital 5.1 by the ABC Television Network on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET.

No Country for Old Men (Miramax and Paramount Vantage), Skip Lievsay, Dolby Digital
