By the middle of November 2009, Germany's most well-known multiplex cinema operator will have equipped 56 of its cinema halls with new "CineAlta 4K" digital cinema projectors from Sony and 3D capabilities from RealD.
The contractor for this project is Film-Ton-Technik Hannsdieter Rüttgers GmbH (FTT) of Düsseldorf.

The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) has hired Mitch Neuhauser as Show Manager of its official movie theater industry convention slated to begin in March 2011.
Currently Vice President of Nielsen Film Group, where he oversees all aspects of industry conventions ShoWest, ShowEast, Cinema Expo and CineAsia, Neuhauser began his career in 1981 with the Sunshine Group Worldwide, which operated ShowEast, Cinema Expo and CineAsia until it was purchased by Nielsen (then VNU).
