IMAX Sells $18 Million Worth Of Shares - To Help Fund Digital Projection System

Imax Corp.has announced that the Douglas family, its
largest shareholder, is adding to its stake by buying
2.7 million shares for $18 million in a private
placement. IMAX also said Wachovia Capital Finance
Corp. has agreed to expand and ease the terms of its
credit facility.
The transactions will help fund this summer's roll-out
of the Imax digital projection system, and Imax stock
rose more than eight per cent on the news.

The UK Film Council's new Development Fund
programme for first-time filmmakers has made its first
awards to talent and projects reflecting the fund's

Eastman Kodak Company today announced that
Kimberly A. Snyder has been promoted to President
and General Manager of the company's market-
leading Entertainment Imaging business, effective
immediately.
As President of Entertainment Imaging (EI), Snyder
will be responsible for all aspects of Kodak's
business with the motion picture and television
industry. This includes both the traditional film
technologies used to capture and print moving
images, as well as the evolving digital technologies
