Brilliant3D with triple flash technology utilizes the entire reflective surface of the DMD chip from Texas Instruments (TI), enabling 3D content to be projected in full 2K resolution.

By implementing Dolby 3D for large screens, exhibitors can project Dolby 3D onto screens ranging from 41 to 70 feet.

The new Dolby 3D large-screen solution is compatible with all of Barco's digital cinema twin- projector offerings, including the ultra-bright DP-3000 flagship projectors.

The initial term of the agreement is three years and is automatically renewable for subsequent three-year periods based on the satisfaction of various conditions by both parties

The agreement builds upon a partnership between GDC and Ballantyne's Strong Technical Services (STS) subsidiary initiated in October 2008
