Microspace Achieves Significant Digital Cinema Milestones in 2007 and Expects Continued Growth in 2008

Microspace Communications Corporation
(Microspace), the leading distributor of digital cinema
via satellite, saw an exciting year of firsts and
milestones in 2007.
The company successfully delivered 11 feature films
from five studios and grew its network to 1,000
screens with over a dozen participating theater circuits
within the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Christie Announces Record Year in Digital Cinema
|
|
|
Christie surpassed original industry expectations,
setting a strong pace of installation that has
culminated in more than 4,400 digital screens to date
across North and South America, Europe, South
Africa, Australia and Asia.

IMAX Signs 10-Cinema China Deal
|
|
|
The deal with China's Wanda Cinema Line Corp.
includes seven screens using IMAX digital projection
technology that is still in development, said IMAX,
which is based in suburban Toronto. The price of the
deal was not announced.

Cine-tal Opens New Headquarters
|
|
|
Cine-tal Systems, a leading manufacturer of image
processing, display and collaboration solutions used
in digital cinema and video production, has moved into
a new 17,000 square foot facility in Indianapolis.
By the end of 2008, Cine-tal expects to have increased
its engineering and manufacturing staff by threefold
and to have effected a similar increase to its sales
and marketing team.

Hollywood studios fully endorse Barco's new 0.98
inch platform for its DP-1500 and DP-2000 digital
cinema projectors.
The new 0.98 inch DMD (Digital Micro-mirror Device)
offers the same pixel resolution (2048x1080) as its
larger 1.2 inch counterpart, but its smaller size offers
significant advantages
