JASON FULSOM AS VICE PRESIDENT, FILM

Cineplex Entertainment is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Fulsom to the position of Vice President, Film effective immediately. Mr. Fulsom’s responsibilities include the negotiation and programming of films for Canada’s largest market (Toronto and area), working closely with the major film studios and independent distributors as well as Cineplex’s Corporate Sales and Alternative Programming teams to expand and further enhance the programs offered to our theatre guests.

“Jason brings 11 years of film buying and booking experience to the position and that experience, coupled with his numerous other talents, have resulted in his becoming one of the most respected and well liked film industry executives in the business, said Michael Kennedy, Executive Vice President, Filmed Entertainment. “Jason is as solid as they come and demonstrates a passion for this business everyday. He is a great asset to Cineplex and I’m very proud to work with him.”

Jason was formerly Executive Director, Film Programming for Cineplex Entertainment and held various positions in the film department and others, increasing in responsibility from 1995 at Famous Players until today. Jason holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
