Digital Cinema Corp announced that Digital Cinema Ltd (DCL) has successfully installed
the Cinedigm suite of digital cinema software and has selected this as its preferred
supplier to manage their deployment throughout all of Ireland.
Cinedigm's TCC -- Theatre Command Center TMS -- will be
used by DCL's exhibitor partners to automate and manage the operation of digital
movie theatres. DCL will monitor and support this digital cinema deployment using
Cinedigm's powerful Enterprise Home Office/NOC system, which connects all theatres
running TCC and includes a highly-automated virtual print fee billing and reporting
engine. Enterprise can also enable theatre circuits to centrally manage their
preshow advertising and trailers' schedules. TCC's
open and flexible design seamlessly integrates with every point of sale scheduling
system, digital cinema media player and projector on the market for maximum, long-term
exhibitor choice. DCL is an Irish company dedicated
to converting the entire country to digital cinema, representing over 40 exhibitors
with 730 screens. "Cinedigm's software team
has enjoyed working with DCL's highly qualified digital cinema staff for several
years as they have begun to bring digital cinema and 3-D online," said Jim
Miller, President of Cinedigm's Software group. "We are very excited about
expanding our relationship with them as they convert the remainder of the country,
and beyond." "Cinedigm's TCC TMS
and Enterprise systems are the most automated and easy-to-use digital cinema solutions
on the market," explained DCL's CEO Kevin Cummins. "The Theater Command
Center automates all aspects of digital cinema operations providing superior control
and consistency while eliminating repetitive tasks and potential points of failure.
We look forward to bringing this state of the art system to all of Ireland."
